Molly Rogers
Associate Music Contractor
Molly was born and raised in the beautiful city of Frankfort, Kentucky. When she demonstrated a quick and natural ear for music, she began piano lessons at the age of three and moved on to Suzuki violin lessons at age four, followed by years of extensive training including time at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music. And although Molly is a classically trained violinist, violist, and vocalist, her music is infused with her Kentucky roots where she learned to let loose her improvisational skills. She grew up with a deep love of film music and discovered her passion for studio work when she began recording on sessions as a high-school aged student.
Molly has has worked with, recorded for, or shared the stage with a wide range of artists including Hans Zimmer, Ramin Djawadi, Ludwig Göransson, John Debney, Lorne Balfe, Brian Tyler, David Foster, Sting, Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Journey, Pharrell, Smokey Robinson, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, John Legend, Shawn Mendes, Jennifer Lopez, P!nk, Halsey, ODESZA, Pentatonix, Andra Day, Evanescence, Lindsey Sterling, Em Beihold, Panic! at the Disco, Train, Tyler the Creator, Bastille, Damian Marley, Kimbra, Kamasi Washington, Bebe Rhexa, X Ambassadors, LeAnn Rimes, Iggy Azalea, Tenacious D, Feist, Laufey, Olivia Rodrigo, Robert Glasgow, Yoshiki, and more. Her television credits include the GRAMMY Awards, the Late Late Show with James Corden (including a spot on Carpool Karaoke featuring Kelly Clarkson) the MTV Movie awards, the ESPY Awards, the American Music Awards, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Having worked for many years alongside a vast variety of composers, music directors, producers, arrangers, orchestrators, artists, engineers, and beyond, Molly brings a unique understanding of what each individual needs to make their visions come to life. She believes the heart of music truly lies within its makers and it is a joy and a privilege to join the Encompass Music team as they connect those makers together.
Molly frequently arranges for and performs with her string quartet, Orchid Quartet. During her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, guitarist Scott Goldbaum, and their golden retriever, Capo. She also loves an occasional video or board game, exploring new cities, finding amazing Indian food, and a good cup of herbal tea.
